Elandie graduated from the University of Pretoria, with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPhysT) in 2009, after which she performed community service in the small town of Uitenhage in the Eastern Cape.
She has since been in private practice, gaining experience in both in-hospital and out-patient treatments and rehabilitation. Since qualifying, she has completed various courses in the orthopaedic and sport fields and in 2012 completed an Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy Course (OMT).
Elandie is passionate about working with children, adolescents and young adults concerning the challenges of musculoskeletal development and incorporating the treatment into sport and daily living. She also enjoys doing exercises and rehabilitation with her patients to optimise performance. She is currently busy with her Masters degree in Physiotherapy.
Special Interest: Orthopaedics, Ergonomics and Workplace Assessment.
Vanessa completed her studies at the University of Pretoria, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Physiotherapy (BPhysT) degree in 2009. She thoroughly enjoyed her time in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, where she completed a year’s community service in 2010.
Since 2011, she has been in private physiotherapy practice and has gained experience in treating orthopaedic conditions in-hospital, as well as in an out-patient practice. She has completed numerous courses in pain assessment and management, orthopaedic assessment and other treatment techniques, including Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy (OMT) in 2012.
Vanessa has a special interest in pain management and rehabilitation. This often includes education, lifestyle management and pacing. She also has a zeal for working within the field of ergonomics and assisting the patient to make necessary adaptations or modifications to reduce or manage pain in the workplace.
Special Interest: Orthopaedics and Sport Injuries.
Melani graduated from the University of Witwatersrand with a BSc Physiotherapy degree in 2013. She has recently completed her community service year in Potchefstroom and joined the practice at the start of 2015.
She has a special interest in sport injuries, orthopaedic conditions and musculoskeletal therapy and is planning to do her OMT course in 2016.
